Almost looks like a split-screen shot at first glance, but it isn't. UPDATE: I've adjusted the date here (it's not from the '60s as I first posted), and I now know it's the Macon Mall. Get started on brightening your home and have your house look its absolute best by calling an electrician in your area now! Now the giant FROG sitting there, almost menacingly, is my favorite! I mean, it's a giant frog, man, plopped right there in the middle of a shopping mall! I'm sure right after this photo was snapped, that be-leisure suited dude standing there in front of the frog, was lassoed with the reptile's gooey 15-foot tongue and swallowed down whole! I'd proudly plant that sucker right there in the front yard for all to see. And you can see by the scale in the picture that these are big pieces, so they must have been pretty impressive to see in person--if you were the kind of person who stops and appreciates things like this (like I am).

Beautiful. Doesn't look like this anymore, though. These tiles are great ways to add a vintage charm as well as a striking variety in the existing look. Homeowners' association employ gooseneck lights as well because of its stylish design and features to highlight important architectural points like monuments, entrances to subdivisions and gated communities. Other malls back in the day, like Cherry Hill, for one, also hosted Harvest House's for their shopping mall patrons, typically being attached to Woolworth stores in many instances. Hard to make out much, I know, but more to the point, I just thought this shot of the Alpena shopping district in an early '70s evening rain, was too loverly not to share. Advanced control systems allow city planners to adjust lighting levels of individual luminaires or groups of fixtures in response to different demands that occur throughout the evening. Alas, Cinderella City was totally redeveloped in the '90s and is no more. But there's more to a supplier than an invoice-and more to the cost of doing business with a supplier than the amount on a purchase order. Can anyone out there tell us more about it and what it was like in person? This one to left looks like a Salvador Dali, Picaso, or Escher type of monstrosity! It's really beautiful, with all those cool interlocking pieces fitting together like a modernistic, Stonehenge-like puzzle statue! Must have been cool to see close-up. Blowing 'em up, the quality isn't great, but at least you can see them better.

It's been a blast to blog for ya in 2005, and 2006 will be even better! Try as much as possible to avoid furniture that has been simply stapled; they will not last you a long time.
